COL (Ret) Carol St Pierre, President of the NYC Chapter of the National Association of Black Military Women, attended the Vet-to-Vet Café on May 28, 2025, to hear Dr. Annie L. Suggs, President of the Brooklyn Chapter, of NABMW to  discuss resources centered around improving health and wellness from Congressman Hakeem Jeffries' office.

The NYC Chapter members of NABMW attended two ceremonies on May 26, 2025, Memorial Day. NYC Chapter members of NABMW attended the Ceremony and presented a Wreath at the Soldiers and Sailors Monument at the Riverside Drive West 89th Street.  The second ceremonies was a Wreath for WWII Veteran Crescencia Garcia at St. Michael's Cemetery. 72-02 Astoria Blvd, Astoria, Queens, NY 11370.

The Board of Directors of The Nurses Association of the Counties of Long Island (NACLI) honored the following members: COL Carol St. Pierre, (Ret.), MSN, BSN, RN, with the Presidential Award; LTC Blossom Ferguson (Ret.), MSN, RN, MPA, CNOR, and COL Cheryl Adams (Ret.), MSN, RN, FN, ACNP, ANP, WHNP, USA ANC, with the Military Service Awards at Verdi’s of Westbury, 680 Old Country Road, Westbury, NY 11590.

The NYC Chapter members of NABMW gathered at the 2nd Baptist Church on March 20, 2025, for an award ceremony recognizing Rev Brenda Archer's achievements with the Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award and a 2024 letter from President Joe Biden.

The  NYC Chapter & Brooklyn Chapter of NABMW was invited to attend a double feature off-Broadway play, The Audit/The American Dream at the Urban Stages Theater. Excellent, thought-provoking performances. The Audit’s storyline includes a black female veteran who has returned from a combat situation which has greatly impacted her life in many ways. We all were able to relate.
